Rules

  • PLEASE NOTE: Pettecote Junction Campground is a family-oriented facility. Our mission is to create a warm and inviting environment with a safe and relaxing atmosphere. The following policies have been established to ensure that all of our campers feel welcome and have the most enjoyable stay possible. Please be considerate to your fellow campers, and please come to us directly if you have any concerns or unpleasantness during your stay so that we can help with a solution.

  • CAMPSITE RENTALS: All reservations for sites and cabins include two adults and two children 17 and under. Children 4 and under are free. There is a 2-tent limit and an 8-person limit per site, including visitors. There is a strict 2-car limit per site. Please plan accordingly or be prepared to use public parking due to space confines. This applies to ALL sites.

  • BOOKING AGE: You must be at least 21 years of age to book a cabin or Glamping site unless prior approval. You must be at least 18 years of age to reserve a campsite.

  • CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT: For all campsites, check-in is any time after 2:00 PM and check-out is any time before 1:00 PM. Cabins and Glamping sites, check-in is any time after 2:00 PM and check-out is any time before 11:00 AM.

  • CAR TAGS: Car tags must be prominently displayed at ALL times while on campground property.

  • GUEST FEES: Day guest visitors are $5 per person. Overnight adult guests are $10.00 and children 5-17 are $5.00. Children under 4 are free.

  • GUESTS: Because of insurance purposes, please inform your guests that they are required to stop at the office to register and pay a guest fee. A guest fee is charged for daily visitors and an additional fee is charged for overnight visitors. Visitors are required to display their car pass on their rear view mirror at all times while in the campground. We do check all unfamiliar vehicles for the safety of our guests and children. Daily visitors must leave at 9:00 PM.

  • CAMPSITES: You are permitted to move picnic tables but please put them back where you found them before leaving. No cutting down trees. Please dispose of trash and recyclables at the dumpster by the bathhouse. The use of chainsaws and generators is strictly prohibited.

  • FIREWOOD POLICY: Campers are NOT permitted to bring in their own firewood. This is in compliance with the quarantine in effect to prevent the spread of invasive species, such as the Lantern Fly. Thank you in advance for complying with this policy. Campfire wood is available for purchase in our store.

  • FIRES: Please do not move campfire rings. Fires should be kept small, must not be left unattended, and extinguished when you retire for the night. Do not place trash, bottles, plastic, cans, treated or painted wood in fire.

  • CHILDREN: All children 5 and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Children under 18 years are not to be left alone in the campground.

  • TRAILS: Please use designated trails only. Erosion will occur when you deviate from the trails and rattlesnakes are native to the area. Please stay safe.

  • SPEED LIMIT: The speed limit in the campground of 5 MPH is strictly enforced for the safety of our guests. Please drive slowly in and out of the campground.

  • DUMP STATION: All outside dumping is a $20.00 charge. We offer a Honey Wagon service of $10.00 per pick up. Please check in at the office to schedule a time.

  • PROHIBITED ITEMS: The possession and/or use of any fireworks, firearms, or weapons is not permitted on campground property. No motorized recreational vehicles are allowed to be operated in the campground unless approval is given.

  • ALCOHOL: Alcohol is permitted with responsibility only on your own site. Excessive alcohol use will not be tolerated. Pennsylvania drinking age is 21; underage drinking is strictly prohibited. No keg beer allowed on campground property.

  • SMOKING: Smoking is prohibited in all camp buildings, including cabins and Glamping sites. Please dispose of cigarette butts properly, not on the ground.

  • QUIET HOURS: Quiet time is 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM every day. Voices, noise, and activities during this time must not disturb others. Children are required to be on their sites at quiet time.

  • PETS: Pets are the sole responsibility of the pet owner. Only 2 dogs are permitted per site without prior approval. Pets must be kept under control and leashed at all times and may not be left unattended at your site, in your RV, or vehicle. Please pick up after your pets. Owners who have pets displaying any form of aggressive behavior may be asked to remove the pet from the campground. PLEASE NOTE: Pets are not permitted in, at, or around our cabins or glamping sites. Thank you for your cooperation!

  • CAMPGROUND ETIQUETTE: Please do not cut through other campsites, whether they are empty or occupied. Use the designated paths to the bathhouse or the road. Please be considerate of your neighbors.
